It stands to reason when you sent a private email or message, you expect it to be just that – private. Well, maybe not. A complaint alleging Facebook has used information in so-called private messages has been filed. (Read more).

We have always been leery of the privacy on Facebook, and caution others to exercise due diligence as well. For this reason, we have always cautioned our clients, and potential clients, not to message sensitive information to us over an unsecured site, but to rather email us directly through our secure website.
